Three Decades of Care Across Six Generations

Mary was born and raised in Littleton, CO. Her loving parents Will and Eunice Back, were bandleader and featured vocalist for the Will Back Orchestra. They travelled coast to coast along the likes of Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Gene Krupa, and Bennie Goodman before settling down in CO to raise Mary and fill local dance halls like the Elitch Garden's Trocadero. She has three sons, a daughter, and is recently the proud "Nana" to her first granddaughter.

After 11 years as an elementary teacher Mary left the classroom to care for her ailing mother before she passed in 2008, an experience which inspired her to write a book titled "Promise in the Sun." With her new found passion for caregiving, Mary spent the next 8 years caring for those in need across the front range with A Senior Companion before opening Mary's Helping Hands.

When Mary isn't working or spending time with her family she can be found volunteering with Maxfund (a no-kill animal shelter), enjoying the company of her pets, making jewelry, and scrapbooking.
